BernsteinForPresident Web Development is DifferentDo you want to experiment with prices, and find the best plan for your needs? BernsteinForPresident.com is currently one of the only sites to offer an Automatic Online Quote Calculator. Most development companies do not publish their rates, and require potential customers to contact them before presenting the rate. All of my sites are freedom friendly as well, so you do not have to feel morally subconscious when ordering. (Very few services can claim to be 100% freedom friendly.) For most sites I use the Freedom-friendly software "Joomla!". Joomla! is a software platform for websites with well over 100,000 users worldwide. I have contributed to the Joomla! project as the editor of the Joomla! 1.5 help screen documents, as well as by writing and maintaining various add-on software for Joomla!. Also, this business is not my full-time job, so I don't charge insane rates to put food on the table. I am a student, so your patronage directly goes to support my higher education. Portfoliowww.JuniorComposers.orgJuniorComposers.org is the home of the Junior Composers Institute, a project of the North Central Region of the National Federation of Music Clubs. The Junior Composers Institute consists of an annual camp for music composition high school students, and an annual music composition workshop for music composition teachers. For this unique situation, there are two parts for the site: a public section for potential participants, and a private section for existing student campers. The public site consists of much more than what meets the eye. The site was designed by a 3rd party designer in an image editing software. I adapted her design to work as a web page, and added extra entities for specific features of the site. On the top is a list of four pieces of music. These rotate every day to showcase a different student composition. The pages can be updated instantly by any of the JCI staff members without the need to pay an "update fee" like many other services require. The private student version of the site includes several function to allow alumni to share music, ideas, and memories. A music gallery allows students to upload music they wrote and share it with their fellow composers. Administrators can mass upload music that was recorded at the camp. A similar gallery exists for pictures. Students can rate and comment on pictures, and even add a "this is me" tag! There is a forum built in as well to share composition advice, give each other feedback, and socialize. As an alternative to the eco-unfriendly laborious practice of mailing out packets with information about each students, these packets are now automatically generated and available for download as a pdf. www.WhoNeViGa.com www.WhoNeViGa.com is a website that allows you to share non-video games you or your friends thought of with others in need of a game. This site is for everyone who enjoys playing new and creative games, connecting with friends or family, being creative, having fun, or all of the above! When come to the site, you are immediately given the option to search for existing games with a multitude of options. You also have the option of doing a full-text search based on a Google search. Once you log in, you are presented with a button labeled "Submit a Game". You are given a blank form in which you can describe your game. The author is given full credit for his/her games. There is even a dedicated page created automatically for every user to showcase his/her games. |
