Special Education Coordinator Chaska High School STAR Program Phone: (952)556-7111 Welcome to Chaska High School! I am ecstatic to be a member of this team and look forward to a year full of learning, growth and enjoyment. I am in my eighth year serving the Schools of Eastern Carver County. I started as a special education teacher at Chaska Middle School West for five years. Following that position, I was the district’s Intervention Coach for two years. Currently, I am serving as one of the Specialized Education Coordinators for the district. I serve both Chaska High School and the STAR program (our adult transition program). I have a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership as well as a Masters of Arts in Education degree from Saint Mary’s University. I earned my Bachelors of Arts degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. I graduated from Waconia High School and am excited to be able to be close to home! Personally, I like to spend time with my husband and our Australian Shepherd, Bella. In my spare time I like to play sports, travel, watch The Amazing Race, attend sporting events (especially Twins games!) and spend time with my friends and family.
